About Jacob Kinney
Jake joined Thrivent in 2013 as a Financial Advisor. He works with individuals, families, congregations, and non-profits to enhance their financial plans to give them peace of mind and predictability moving forward. He'll utilize a menu of options of customizable portfolio management and insurance solutions to help you understand and conquer your finances in order to protect, grow, and transfer your wealth tax-efficiently.
His goal in this career is to partner with the clients he serves to succeed in their financial journeys. Jake views each client's entire financial picture as a puzzle, and the way he'll put all the pieces together is problem-solving at its best.

Jake was born in Chicago, but grew up in Glastonbury, CT, attended Central Connecticut State University, and moved to Southern California in November 2020. He's a bit of a sports fanatic, but loves playing golf and tennis, and is a die hard Cincinnati Bengals fan. He's on the vestry at his church, and on the board of a non-profit. He and his wife love to travel, but their favorite place is Martha's Vineyard - where they married in June 2023.
