About Jacob Anderson

I'm proud to be a Thrivent financial professional. I provide personalized financial guidance to people at all stages of life. At Thrivent, we view money not as a goal, but as a tool — one that can afford you a life rich in meaning and gratitude.

My passion for serving others began in the fire service where I served as an EMT-A/firefighter for five years. I felt God’s calling of service to continue, but in financial services. This would allow me to exercise one of my deepest passions - building deeper, long-term relationships with clients versus the more acute nature of relationships in the fire service.

I have been with Thrivent since 2018, most recently building the network of advisors that we have in Whatcom County. After a few years in that role, I couldn’t shake my call to serve new and existing clients full time.

I was born and raised in Ferndale and now live in Bellingham, WA with my wife, Annie, and two daughters. On the weekend, you can find us spending time as a family doing anything outdoors, biking, walking, and playing pickleball. When we aren’t outside playing, you will find Annie and me serving with one of the non-profits we support!
