I'm proud to be a Financial Planner at Thrivent. My passion centers around educating and empowering clients in their financial journey.
In my financial planning relationships with clients, we have two main goals:
1- Grow in Statistical Stewardship (All the data-oriented things, optimizing rate of return, portfolio management, minimizing taxes, charitable giving, estate strategies)
2- Grow in Financial Peace! (How we feel about our money.)This is often not talked about or overlooked! I believe the data and financial peace are both crucial in a long term planning relationship
What I experience every day is that for most people, the more resources we have the more worry and anxiety we have around money! A financial plan with all the data optimized and no emotional peace, in my opinion is a terrible financial plan.

Who is Jacob personally?
Outside of the office, you'll find me spending time with my wife Annie and our three little kids!
We are passionate about all things in Ferndale. We love going to Ferndale high school sporting events, attending community events and supporting local non-profits.
We love to stay active by going to the gym, playing pickleball, hiking and skiing!

Erika has been with Thrivent since 2021 and was previously a Financial Advisor.
Outside of work she enjoys the outdoors, sports, and fostering puppies with her 4 children.

Yogis has been working with Thrivent Financial for 2 years. Prior to working at Thrivent, he was a Financial Analyst at Texas Tech University. He has finished his Finance degree and worked 4 years in Canada before he moved to the states. He enjoys watching sports and collecting coins.

Madeleine Gold
Madeleine hails from Ames, Iowa originally, but is currently settled in Oklahoma City with her husband and Chiweenie, Percy. After many years of theatre, comedy, and artist management in a a host of different major metropolitan areas, Madeleine found finance during the refinance boom during Covid. She loves it and wants to stay! In her free time, Madeleine is a hardcore crafter. Currently, her favorite is needle painting embroidery.

Leonardo joined Thrivent in 2025 after previously working as an office professional for another company. He has obtained a Master of Science in Finance - Wealth Managemement from C.T. Bauer College of Business in Houston, TX.
