My career at Thrivent started in 1995. My husband, Bob Warren, and I married in 2000 and moved to Orange County California in 2003. We found a church home in a congregation that has a strong missional vision. We immediately dove into their twice a year Tijuana builds and annual mission trips to Honduras.
One of the many reasons I chose to work at Thrivent is the company’s focus on helping individuals and families link their faith and values with their finances. Our team has adopted this mantra as a guide for the way we do business. Success for us has been achieved when we know we’ve helped our clients do well, and as a result, they’re able to do more good for others.
By utilizing the tools and training Thrivent offers, we can provide a holistic approach to creating a customized financial plan for our clients. Our practice primarily focuses on retirement accumulation, retirement distribution and charitable/estate strategies. We’re particularly passionate about working with clients who have an interest in including charity in their planning.
I have been initiated into the Thrivent Charitable Voice in Philanthropy (VIP) Hall of Honor (2009). This is a special recognition for those financial professionals who have devoted extra effort in facilitating charitable gifts to the foundation.
Each Voice in Philanthropy (VIP) must meet two criteria: Facilitate at least $100,000 in donor gifts to Thrivent Charitable for the year; and, have a career number of donors that meets or exceeds the average number of financial professionals working with Thrivent Charitable

I started with Thrivent in 2002 after interning with the company for two years while finishing my degree in finance. I am passionate about getting to know our clients and what is most important to them, which allows us to create a personalized plan to help them realize their financial goals. I am currently working on additional designations to further my education. One of the things I appreciate most about working for Thrivent is not only helping people with their goals, but also working for an organization that encourages us and our members to be generous.
My wife Annie is an elementary school teacher, and we have been married since 2018. Early in 2022, we welcomed our son, Luke Jr. When not working, I enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors with my family, camping and hiking. I also enjoy fishing, snowboarding and golfing.

I have worked with Stephanie since January 2011. Coming from a middle school teaching background, working for a financial advisor was a bit of a learning curve for me. Over the years, I have juggled a variety of roles until finally settling into my “sweet spot.” I now leverage my gift of organization and follow-through by guiding our clients smoothly through the process of moving their money, making updates and changes to their accounts, and closely monitoring these until completion. I find it strangely satisfying to cross things off a list!
My husband, Glenn, and I have been married since 1983 and we have a married daughter, a son, and two granddaughters. I enjoy reading historical fiction, political thrillers, and the classics as well as picture books, Junie B. Jones and children’s classics to my granddaughters. I like to write and am a compulsive grammar-corrector who is still working on the art of keeping it to myself.
My husband and I support our local church and missions and are especially passionate about World Gospel Outreach in Honduras.

Prior to joining Thrivent, I worked as a mechanical engineer in aerospace for four years. There, I used my analytical skills and education to solve different kinds of problems; but something was missing—the interaction with people and making a lasting impact on their lives. So, I made a drastic career change in 2017 and became a financial advisor. Thrivent’s mission, faith-based values and fraternal nature were all things that resonated with me and my own values, so it was a no-brainer to choose this firm.
For four years I have had my own practice focusing on comprehensive financial planning. I have achieved several advanced designations in retirement planning and am looking to pursue additional certifications.
Several years ago, I met Stephanie at an advanced education workshop where she was one of the teachers. Soon after, we began to work together, serving some of my clients. We enjoyed working together so much, she formally asked me to join the Shields-Cattau Financial Group in May 2022. My role is to monitor the progress of all our clients’ financial plans, perform financial analysis and draft initial written recommendations. I love solving financial problems and providing value to our clients by showing them creative solutions.
I’ve been married to my high-school sweetheart, Selena, since 2013 and we have two beautiful children. My daughter, Londyn Jade (we call her LJ), was born in 2016 and my son, Titus, was born in 2019. When not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and kids outside playing sports, golf and basketball, and sampling craft beers. I am an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, as I have lived in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex my whole life.

I started with Thrivent in 2016 after retiring as a Postmaster/Manager with the US Postal Service. Serving clients in the Texas Region, I met Jesse Davison who learned I had recently relocated back to Indiana with my wife’s job change and introduced me to Stephanie and Luke. I was blessed to be able to join the team in May of 2023. One of the things I appreciate most about working for Shields Cattau Financial Group is the expectation of going above and beyond for our clients.

Currently based in Evansville IN, my wife, Nicole, and I married in 2001 and have 5 children and 2 grandchildren. We enjoy attending events our kids participate in, especially band competitions and football games. We are rabid fans of the Denver Broncos, St. Louis Cardinals, Indiana Hoosiers, and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

My Thrivent journey began in 2021 when I interned for representative, Nancy Hansen, in my hometown of Redwood Falls, Minnesota. In order to provide a multi-faceted look into the variety of opportunities with Thrivent, Nancy introduced me to Stephanie and sent me to California to spend a few days in her office. There I learned how Stephanie operates her business as well as heard more about the brokerage side of finance; this really interested me. She offered me a job, and I started working for her following my graduation.
Thrivent has been recognized by Ethisphere as one of the 2021 World’s Most Ethical Companies. This is one reason I am excited to work for this organization. At this time, I am providing office support for Stephanie as well as studying to become securities licensed (Series 7 and 66) in Minnesota and eventually to expand into different states.
I am currently based in Redwood Falls, Minnesota where I am enrolled as a member of the Lower Sioux Indian Community. I graduated from the University of Minnesota – Morris with a bachelor’s degree in Financial and Organizational Management in May 2022. While in college, I played both basketball and golf.
I have black Lab named Jax and a pit bull/ German shepherd mix. Some of my hobbies include spending time with my family and friends, golfing, fishing, and basically anything involving sports or being outside.
