Our team

Adam began his career with Thrivent in 2008 shortly after graduating from college. Inspired by Thrivent's mission of helping people achieve financial clarity while building an independent practice, he found the perfect fit for his passion for serving others and entrepreneurship. In 2014, Adam earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation, reinforcing his commitment to delivering comprehensive financial guidance. 

Adam and his wife, Stephanie, have been married since 2005 and call Savannah, Georgia, home. They have two children, Jordan and Haley, and share their home with Maui, their beagle. The Hess family is actively involved at Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church, where Adam serves as a lead usher and Sunday School teacher. 

Giving back is central to the Hess family's values. They support and volunteer with organizations including PACK, Warriors for William, CURE Childhood Cancer, Coastal Empire Habitat for Humanity, The Living Vine, and Urban Hope, investing their time, talents, and resources to make a meaningful impact in their community

Ben is a financial advisor and head of operations for Hess Wealth Advisors. He and his wife, Paige, have two boys, and after many years in the Athens and Atlanta areas, are now proud to call Savannah home. Ben is a former pastor, professional musician, and worked in the nonprofit space before bringing his desire to help others to Thrivent. He’s a graduate of the University of Georgia and when he’s not helping guide our clients, he can be found with a guitar, camera or golf club in his hand.

Lindsey joined Thrivent with a background in finance, business, and entrepreneurship, and holds an MBA. She has a passion for helping people feel more confident in their financial lives and enjoys working closely with clients to create strategies that support both their goals and the life they want to live along the way. Originally from the Northeast, Lindsey recently returned to Connecticut and is enjoying building a new chapter both personally and professionally. Outside of work, she can often be found spending time with her dog, Scout, exploring local spots, traveling, or working on her next home project. She is also a member of the Junior League and recently took up ice skating this winter. Lindsey values building genuine, long-term relationships and is committed to serving her clients with care and clarity.

Tom has been a Market Director in the Southeast Region hiring and training advisors while living in Sarasota, Florida. He has worked at Thrivent Financial starting in 1995 as a Financial Advisor moving to a Partner role in Indiana prior to moving to Florida in 2010 with his wife Teresa. Tom is passionate about helping people be financially secure by helping individuals, families, and business owners with all their financial needs. Tom and his wife Teresa have one son Kevin, daughter in law Katherine who own their own law firm and granddaughter Madelyn. Tom enjoys sports and supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.

Olivia and her husband, Sean, have two children and currently are living in Pennsylvania after a few short years in the south. Olivia has worked for Hess Wealth Advisors since 2017 and has a deep passion for helping all our clients. She graduated from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 2013. Olivia loves to throw down in the kitchen and try new dessert recipes whenever she has a free moment to do so.

Lauren joined Hess Wealth Advisors in 2024 and is passionate about supporting clients and the advisory team in achieving their financial planning goals. A graduate of Guilford College, Lauren earned her degree in 2002 and began her career in the financial services industry, developing a strong foundation in client-focused support. A New England native, Lauren relocated to the Savannah area in 2023. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors swimming, cycling, and walking her black Lab, Coal. Lauren has been blessed with 2 beautiful daughters who share her sense of adventure. She loves studying God’s word with other women and striving together to be the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Christ in her community.

Amanda and her husband, Michael, now live in Scurry, Texas (population 688), outside of Dallas. Amanda graduated from Texas A&M University and followed her Army husband across the Southeast. Amanda started working for Hess Wealth Advisors in 2012 as his first employee. She left Savannah in 2018 after Michael retired from the military, so they could live closer to her family. She is excited to, once again, assist the Hess Wealth Advisor team in helping clients achieve their goals. Amanda and Michael have two daughters, two dogs, and one son-in-law.

Tyler is a licensed support advisor focused on research and supporting the Hess Wealth Advisor Dedicated Planning Department. He grew up in the Savannah area playing drums in churches and bands and currently lives in Rincon with his partner, Logan, and their son, Soren. When he's not working or studying, Tyler enjoys spending time with family, making music and playing with his white lab, Nenya.

Dan started with Thrivent (previously AAL) in 1996. He is married to Jackie, and they have 3 children, Kristine, Dan Jr., and Jeffrey. Dan loves to travel, fish, take a good walk, and golf. He currently attends Grace Lutheran Church, Pensacola, FL where is serving as a Financial Committee member and has formerly served as President

and Backpack Ministry helper. He has led 7 Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity Worldwide and participated in 7 additional builds.

Josue and his wife are US Army veterans and reside in Chapel Hill, NC. Josue began working for Hess Wealth Advisors in 2024 and has a passion for financial planning. He is currently attending Southern New Hampshire University. He enjoys spending time with family, walking his dog, Cindy-Lou, and going on the occasional run.
