The person at the center of the plan should also remain at the center of the conversation. For individuals with disabilities and their families, meaningful planning extends far beyond account balances. It means understanding: • What makes daily life work • Which relationships and supports matter most • How housing, benefits, caregiving, and financial resources fit together • What a fulfilling future looks like for the individual—not just for everyone planning around them No plan can anticipate every change. But thoughtful, person-centered planning can help families make informed decisions today while continuing to adapt as life evolves. Even in a galaxy far, far away, Robbie is still on duty. 🌌🐾 This photo from our family trip last December captures so much of what I value: time together, accessible experiences, and the people and supports that help make meaningful moments possible. Living with a disability—and parenting a medically complex child—has taught me that every family experiences the world differently. The best support begins with listening, understanding the full picture, and respecting what matters most to the people in front of you. That perspective shapes how I approach my work every day. For this particular day, however, the most important decision was who got to hold the lightsabers. 😊 Hannah, her husband, their three children, and her black Labrador service dog, Robbie, pose with the Mandalorian and Grogu during a family visit to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. #Accessibility #Inclusion #ServiceDog #FamilyTravel #PurposeDrivenWork #StarWars

July is Disability Pride Month—a time to recognize disability as a natural part of human diversity and to celebrate the strength, identity, and contributions of the disability community. For me, disability pride does not mean pretending that disability is always easy. There are challenges, frustrations, and logistics that many people never see. Pride means knowing that those realities do not diminish my value, my abilities, or the fullness of my life. My disability has shaped how I move through the world, raise my family, and serve my clients. My wheelchair gives me greater freedom and access, while my service dog, Robbie, is both a trusted working partner and a very special part of our family. My lived experience is also deeply connected to the work I do. It has shown me how much access, thoughtful planning, and the right support can affect a person’s ability to live with greater choice, security, and confidence. Disability pride means being fully seen—not in spite of disability, but as a whole person whose disability is one meaningful part of their story. Happy Disability Pride Month. ❤️💛🤍💙💚 Hannah sits in her power wheelchair and reaches toward Robbie, her black Labrador service dog, outside a red building. #DisabilityPrideMonth #DisabilityPride #Accessibility #Inclusion #ServiceDog #DisabledAndProud

This photo from last summer at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame includes some of my favorite people—and, of course, Robbie. 🎸🐾 At the heart of the work I do is family. Every family has its own story, priorities, challenges, and hopes for the future. That is why I care so deeply about listening well, understanding what matters most, and helping people thoughtfully navigate the decisions in front of them. My own family continues to shape my perspective and remind me that behind every decision are real people and the lives they are building together. I’m incredibly grateful for this crew and the joy, support, and purpose they bring to my life. ❤️ Hannah, her family, and her black Labrador service dog, Robbie, pose in front of the large ROCK sign outside the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. #Family #PurposeDrivenWork #ServiceDog #RockAndRollHallOfFame #Cleveland
