About Greg Bearce

I spent much of my “first life” pursuing a career that enabled me to live and play in the mountains. I love all things bicycles and skis, and the cultures that surround these activities. I grew up working in ski & bike shops, I lived to pass on my enthusiasm to anyone who shared my interests. When my wife told me she wanted to go to medical school, I realized it was an opportunity to dream bigger for me and my family. I realized I wanted to connect with people in a more meaningful way. At Thrivent, I get to share my enthusiasm of dreaming bigger with those around me. Instead of talking about gear, now I get to talk about the tools that we use to live our life, to achieve our goals, and to care for those around us.

My Family

I wouldn’t be where I am without the support of my family. I’m so grateful to be married to Hollie. We share the joy our two children, Griffin and Addie, bring to our life. We are on a grand adventure that has brought so many life changes. Through all our struggles and privileges, our family keeps us strong and challenges us to do so much more.

Community Involvement

It’s the people we surround ourselves with that make our life so worthwhile. Whether we are looking for support, or looking to give back, it’s important to acknowledge and appreciate the communities we find ourselves in. Some of the communities I’m a part of include:

  • Greater Grand Forks Young Professionals
  • Grand Forks Blue Zone Project
  • The Ski & Bike Shop Group Rides

Education & Certification

One of the things I cherish most in life is personal growth through learning. A few of the achievements I’m proud of include:

  • FINRA 7 & 66 Certification
  • Life & Health Insurance License
  • MBA, Boise State University
  • BA Journalism, University of Montana
