Dave Collins has dedicated his career to helping families achieve financial security—and for him, it’s more than a career, it’s a calling. As the son of a Thrivent advisor who served for 38 years and earned Hall of Fame honors, Dave proudly continues that tradition. Today, Dave has reached one of Thrivent’s highest distinctions: Hall of Fame Legends, an honor achieved by less than 1% of advisors nationwide.

Faith, Family, and Finances are the guiding principles in Dave’s life and work. He believes that keeping these priorities in order brings balance and purpose. Dave is blessed to serve multiple generations of families and to support numerous local charities and organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, Detroit Children’s Choir, Detroit Urban League, Compassion Pregnancy Center, Family Youth Intervention, and Family of God.

Outside of work, he’s a husband to Payge, father to six, and grandfather to four—roles he treasures most.

Ian Cole brings a unique blend of experience and hometown passion to Fortified Financial Group. After a 20-year career in operations—including executive leadership—Ian joined the family practice to help drive the team to new heights. His focus is on building strong systems, refining processes, and ensuring every client has an exceptional experience.

A graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in Supply Chain Management and a Behavioral Financial Advisor (BFA) designation, Ian is dedicated to helping families plan for the future. He’s deeply invested in the Mount Clemens community—restoring a Victorian home, serving on the board at the Macomb Family YMCA, and cheering on his son Griffin at travel hockey games. Living, working, and volunteering within a five-minute radius, Ian is all about supporting his hometown and its next revival.

Ian’s goal is simple: to help the office continue serving the community for generations to come, carrying on the family legacy. Outside of work, he enjoys Michigan State sports, home improvement projects, and the occasional round of golf.

Adam Collins is the welcoming presence at Fortified Financial Group, making sure every client feels right at home. As Office Manager, Adam draws on a wide range of experiences—from coaching eSports students and serving as a resident assistant, to helping clients with mortgage applications and leading children’s programs. His commitment to service and attention to detail help keep our office running smoothly.

Adam grew up in Clinton Township and is proud to carry on the family legacy here in the community. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing sand volleyball, basketball, and pickleball. Adam’s goal is simple: to create a friendly, supportive environment for clients and help our team make a positive impact in Mount Clemens.

Aaron Collins brings energy and dedication to Fortified Financial Group as a Financial Advisor. With a background that includes roles in sales, painting, and financial services, Aaron’s diverse experience helps him connect with clients and understand their unique needs. He’s a fully licensed Financial Advisor, committed to helping families plan for a secure future.

Aaron was born into a family of eight and is a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church, values that shape his approach to service and community. Outside the office, you’ll find him playing guitar, working out at the gym, golfing, or exploring new places. Aaron’s goals are rooted in family tradition—growing the practice to serve more people and making a positive impact in the community, all while striving to improve his golf game.
