A Path That Found Me
A Path That Found Me

My path into financial advising wasn’t something I planned, but through my experiences and my faith, I’ve come to believe this is exactly where I was meant to be!

When I graduated, I assumed my career would follow a traditional path in mental health. Helping people has always been at the center of who I am, and I knew I wanted a career built on meaningful relationships and making a difference in others' lives.

But life has a way of redirecting us.

I experienced firsthand the power of having people who could provide guidance, support, and a clear path forward when I felt lost. I recognized how much uncertainty and stress I had carried when it came to my own financial life and I knew what it felt like to want stability but not know where to start.

That realization opened my eyes to a different way of helping people.

Today, I have the privilege of helping individuals and families create clarity around their finances, make informed decisions, and build confidence in their future. While the work I do looks different than what I imagined, the mission is exactly the same: helping people move from uncertainty to confidence and from feeling overwhelmed to feeling empowered.

More than anything, I value connection. I believe the best guidance starts with genuine relationships, trust, and understanding someone's unique story. My goal is to be a resource, an advocate, and a partner for the people I serve as they navigate some of life's biggest financial decisions.

Life, Values, and What Matters Most
Life, Values, and What Matters Most

Outside of work, one of my biggest passions is riding motorcycles. I’ve been riding for over a decade, and it’s something that has taken me across different states and allows me to experience life in a way that keeps me present and grounded.

That perspective carries into my work because financial planning shouldn’t just be about the future, it should support the life you’re living now!

My faith has also played a significant role in shaping who I am. It's been a guiding force throughout my life and was one of the reasons I felt drawn to Thrivent. The organization's values and commitment to serving others closely align with my own, and I'm grateful to be part of a company that allows me to live out that purpose through my work.

Family is at the heart of everything I do. I come from a large blended family. I am recently engaged and own a home here in Minnesota. As my fiancé and I begin planning our future together, I'm especially passionate about helping individuals, couples, and young families navigate many of the same financial decisions and milestones that we're experiencing ourselves.

I'm also excited to serve those in the recovery community. My own journey through sobriety has taught me what it's like to rebuild, start over, and create a new foundation from the ground up. Because of that experience, I have a deep appreciation for the courage it takes to make lasting changes and plan for a better future. Helping people create financial stability and confidence during those transitions is work that feels deeply meaningful to me.

I appreciate you taking the time to read a little about me and I can't wait to hear about you!
