About Me
I began my career in financial services in 1997 at PaineWebber (now UBS), where I supported individual investors as a client service associate. After five years, I realized I thrived in a more collaborative environment, which led me to Edward Jones. Over the next 19 years, I focused on building strong client relationships and completed the necessary industry licensing requirements to serve in a financial advisory capacity.
Giving back is an important part of who I am. I serve on the board of directors at The Shepherd’s Center of Kernersville, am on the executive committee for the Kernersville Woman’s Club and sing in the choir at Union Cross Moravian Church. I value building lasting relationships based on trust, service, and mutual respect.
A Personalized Approach to Financial Planning
As a financial advisor with Thrivent, I serve individuals and families in the Piedmont Triad area. I take a values-based, personalized approach to financial planning by starting with what matters most to you. Whether you're planning for retirement, managing investments, or protecting your assets, I help you make informed financial decisions with greater clarity.
I believe financial planning is a lifelong journey. I work side by side with my clients to create strategies that evolve with their lives. With the support of Thrivent’s resources and a holistic planning philosophy, I provide guidance that aligns with your goals and values.
My Why
My passion for financial education began with my own family’s experience. When my father retired early, he chose a pension option that provided the highest payout. What he didn’t realize was that this decision meant my mother would no longer receive income if he passed away first. That choice was irrevocable. As a result, my mother spent the last third of her life facing financial uncertainty.
I often wish my father had access to someone he could trust to help him understand the long-term impact of that decision. That experience shaped my commitment to helping others make informed financial choices. My goal is to educate and empower individuals and families with the knowledge and resources they need to navigate life’s financial complexities with greater clarity and confidence.
