My Upbringing
I grew up in Rockford, Illinois, surrounded by a diverse community and an incredible family. I was blessed with an amazing faith filled family of seven and although I would not change a thing, there were times we had to tighten our belts. It was never due to a lack of income but rather a lack of financial knowledge. Seeing firsthand how this impacted even hardworking families sparked my passion for financial education. Now, I’m committed to helping others plan for their future and protect themselves from the challenges we faced.

Athletics
Athletics have been a huge part of my life and have shaped me into who I am today. After years of training and competition, I developed discipline, grit, and the ability to work with and lead others. Sports are a microcosm of life—teaching resilience, accountability, and how to navigate both victories and setbacks.
My time at Wheaton College, especially with the Wheaton football team, was transformative. It was there that I truly learned what it means to be a man of God. Faith became the most important part of my life, shaping not only how I compete but how I live, lead, and serve others. The lessons I learned through athletics and my faith journey continue to drive me every day

My Passion
I've always been passionate about people. I love meeting new faces, building relationships, and more than anything helping others. Throughout college, I was a Young Life leader, walking alongside students in their faith journeys, and I spent time as a counselor and trip leader at Kanakuk Camps. My passion for service deepened even further through short-term mission trips in high school and college, where I did manual labor to support communities in need. Those experiences were some of the most impactful of my life, shaping my desire to help others in a meaningful way.
One of the most important ways I can do that is by guiding people financially. I want to equip individuals and families with the knowledge and tools to take control of their financial future, reducing stress and increasing confidence in their decisions. I also want to help them use their resources to bless others and live generously. That’s why I chose Thrivent over any other company. Their values align perfectly with mine, faith-driven, ethical, and focused on using money as a tool for greater purpose. At Thrivent, I have the opportunity to serve people not just financially, but in a way that reflects what truly matters to them.
