My name is Doug Vernon, and I've called the St. Louis area home since 2007. My wife, Patti, and I were married in 1981, and we've been blessed with three children and seven grandchildren—all of whom live nearby. Family is everything to us. Whether we're hiking the trails of Missouri and Illinois, visiting local wineries, working in the yard, or simply relaxing by the waterfall in our backyard, we love being together. We're a little crazy, but that's part of the fun!
For 40 years, I served as a pastor, walking alongside people on their spiritual journeys. Today, I have the privilege of guiding people on their financial journeys. Sitting down with someone, listening to their story, offering encouragement, and exploring how we can bring greater peace of mind to their future—that's what matters most to me. I work primarily with Christians, helping clients align their financial decisions with their values through thoughtful, personalized financial planning.
I believe good stewardship brings peace and purpose. If you're looking for a partner who shares your values and cares about your whole story, I'd love to talk. Reach out today—let's begin.
I'm proud to be a Thrivent financial professional. I am a wholistic financial advisor who provide wise guidance with the potential to lead one to financial freedom. I am a competent and educated financial advisor guided by biblical principles of stewardship, self-discipline, and generosity.

Dresser Build for Home Sweet Home
We led an action team to build dressers for a great St Louis non-profit, Home Sweet Home.

Had the opportunity to host several church staff and local pastors to encourage and support them!
