Experienced Financial Guidance

After having a solo practice with Thrivent for many years, I teamed up with other financial professionals to form Journey Financial Consultants in 2008. I believe we do better work together and the best “product” we have to offer is the pooling together of my team’s unique personalities, collective abilities, network of relationships and professional expertise to provide you with comprehensive financial planning advice and guidance in your journey toward achieving your financial goals.

I have provided financial solutions in all areas of planning throughout my career, but my area of expertise on the team is to meet with new clients, or clients who have experienced a life change, and help them to discover, create or rethink their financial goals. Once we have determined a direction together, I place them on a path with the right person, financial advice process or product solution to meet their needs.

No matter what stage of life you are in, my team at Journey Financial Consultants can help you navigate your unique financial story and find a solution that strengthens your financial security.

Financial Consultant for Thrivent - Journey Financial Consultants

I have more than 20 years’ experience and am passionate about guiding individuals and families as they plan for their financial future.

During my previous career as a social worker in the community-based long-term care setting, I consistently witnessed people’s lives being negatively impacted by preventable financial disasters. It dawned on me that financial professionals are uniquely positioned to help people avoid these types of crises. This realization led me to a career in the financial services industry where I am able to help people navigate financial choices, maximize and protect their assets, and guide them on their journey to a confident retirement. I love working with Thrivent and connect personally with its values of helping people reach financial clarity and live meaningful, generous lives.

I live in New Brighton with Gary and am mom to two young men, Isaac and Ben. In my free time, I enjoy music, dancing, biking, improv and being outdoors (especially during patio season)!

I would love to connect with you on LinkedIn or if you prefer follow my team on Facebook to see what we are up to.

Giving Back - helping where I can
Giving Back - helping where I can

Giving back is something I hold close to my heart and is why I chose to join the board of the Minnesota Planned Giving Council, volunteer at Family Promise in Anoka County, and am a member of the Department of Human Services Project Vision 2030.  I also serve my community with involvement in Small Sums, Habitat for Humanity and Hope4Youth. The impact that money and resources can have on the world is important to me. I believe that humanity can find great contentment in sharing and joyfully giving.
