Who I Am
Who I Am

I grew up in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, where my parents modeled a deep sense of calling in their work as a teacher and a social worker. For more than 20 years, I pursued my own sense of calling - serving congregations across the Carolinas. In 2020, that same sense of calling led me to use my gifts and skills to serve my neighbors on their financial journeys.

Today, I am a Certified Financial Planner®️professional and Financial Advisor at Thrivent, helping individuals, families, and business owners align their finances with their goals and values. I believe that every individual and family can benefit from an intentional, written financial plan rooted in their values and commitments. I am committed to helping my clients discover and pursue the next steps in their financial journeys with clarity and confidence.

I earned my undergraduate degree from Clemson University and divinity degrees from Wake Forest University and Duke University. Recently, I've had the opportunity to return to Duke Divinity School and teach Vision and Strategy courses to doctoral students.

Outside of my professional work, I serve churches as a coach and consultant at Pinnacle Leadership Associates, partner with York County Habitat for Humanity, and support the cross country and track teams at Clemson University and Daniel High School.

I am married to Sarah, a pediatric nurse practitioner, and proud dad to Garrett, Keller, and Emma Kate.

How I Help

Every individual and family can benefit from having a personalized, written financial plan. Our mission is to help you discover the clarity and confidence to make financial decisions that align with your values and priorities.

  • Personalized conversations that identify who and what matters most to you.

  • Purpose-driven strategies designed to propel you toward your financial goals.

  • Professional guidance that helps keep you on track over the long haul.

Whether you’re just starting to plan, taking stock of the progress you’ve made, or preparing for the next phase, we create strategies that meet you where you are and empower you to take the next step with confidence.

Accessible, Personalized Service

While our practice has a center of gravity in the Carolinas – where we’ve had roots for more than 20 years – we serve clients across the country through virtual engagment. So, no matter where you’re starting from, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
