Dane is from Blue Earth, MN & is a graduate of NDSU with a degree in Business Administration.
I come from a family that has a background in both accounting and business management. At an early age, I enjoyed working with numbers along with my Mom who worked as an accountant and a business consultant. I also worked for a few years with my Father, Grandfather, and Uncles as they ran their own manufacturing business. That is where my experience and education was shaped, and my talents & interests began to form. I joined the financial service industry because I have a passion for helping people that come to me for advice. I enjoy helping clients clarify their goals. After their goals are clear, we work together on a path to more easily attain them. I aim to ease some of the anxiety leading to financial decisions such as retirement or risk management. I focus on retirement and legacy planning by helping clients navigate the 5 key risks that retirees often face.
My wife Beth and I have been married for over 20 years and live in Glenwood, MN. We have 3 children (Nick – who will be a 2023 high school graduate, Lauryn, & Sydney – who are entering middle school).
Beth is a Nurse Practitioner at Glacial Ridge Clinic in Glenwood, MN and is from Groton, SD.
I enjoy spending time with my family doing many things that people love to do in lakes country including boating & water sports, running, hiking, hunting pheasants, and (even though I’m not very good at it) golfing.
Fun Fact: Dane was also a NCAA Division II Academic All-American Wrestler.
Beth and I volunteer in many aspects of our community including our church, and our local town festival Waterama. We also enjoy attending and volunteering at the various events & activities that our kids are involved in. Some of those include Cross Country, Wrestling, Basketball, Track & Field, Business Professionals of America, and School Band. I’m also involved with Glenwood Rotary, Minnewaska Wrestling, and Glenwood Lutheran Church.
