I started at Thrivent in September 2005 and currently serve as a Financial Consultant and Team Lead of CrossRoads Consultants. I specialize in retirement income distribution planning, tax efficiency strategies, and comprehensive financial planning.

Growing up in a family that valued responsible saving and spending, I developed an early awareness of how financial guidance can shape someone’s future. I realized many people didn’t receive that same foundation, and I wanted to help fill that gap. As a longtime Thrivent member, I explored several career paths but ultimately chose to build my practice here so I could help others take control of their finances and give back to their communities. In the end, I chose Thrivent because I wanted to work somewhere I could help people make wise financial decisions and, in doing so, help strengthen their communities.

My favorite part of this work is building meaningful relationships with our members. I’m known for forming strong friendships with clients and colleagues and especially enjoy seeing the creative ways they use Action Teams to support and uplift our local community.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, boating, visiting wineries, decorating spaces, and spending time with my family and friends. My husband, Richard, and I have two daughters, Lily and Morgan, and we love making memories together. I also enjoy reimagining and redecorating rooms around the house, whether it’s a bedroom, bathroom, or office.

I’m a Financial Associate with the CrossRoads Consultants team, and I enjoy working with individuals and families as they navigate important financial decisions, especially as they think about retirement and the years ahead. I help clients organize key areas such as protection, accumulation and goal‑setting, with experience supporting conversations around pensions, Social Security, retirement income strategies, and Medicare resources.

I’ve been in the financial services industry since November 2017 and was drawn to this work by a passion for education and helping others make sense of complex topics. Thrivent’s approach to financial guidance and its commitment to generosity closely align with my values and the way I support clients.

Outside of work, I’m a busy working parent who understands how quickly life can change and how important it is to have a plan that can evolve along the way. I enjoy volunteering, attending my children’s theater performances and school events, and spending time outdoors with my husband, Patrick, our three children, and our golden retriever. Having lived in this community since kindergarten, I’m passionate about giving back to the place that has played such an important role in shaping my life, including my involvement with the Huntley Chamber of Commerce and volunteering with the Huntley School District.

I love helping families move from financial overwhelm to clarity and confidence. Whether we’re puzzling through college planning, everyday financial decisions, or long-term goals, there’s nothing more rewarding than watching a family go from anxious and uncertain to steady and hopeful about what comes next.

I work with families to bring more order, wisdom, and peace to their financial lives so they can make decisions that reflect their values and support the life they’re building. I have a special heart for LCMS called teachers and ministry families. My husband, John, is a called Lutheran teacher and administrator, so this is not only a world I understand professionally—it’s one I live in at home, too.

I began my career with Thrivent in 2021 after 10 years in nonprofit fundraising, drawn to its mission of serving others and living our faith through everyday generosity. I grew up in the Milwaukee area and now live in Oconomowoc with John, our three children—Maggie, Kate, and Colt—and our bulldog, Augie. When I’m not helping families, you can usually find us rock climbing at Devil’s Lake, relaxing in Wisconsin’s Northwoods, or fixing up our old farmhouse.

I began my career with Thrivent in June 2025 after spending over 25 years in the mortgage industry. During that time, I heard so many clients say they wished they had a better understanding of their financial picture. I found that people of all ages, backgrounds, and income levels often lacked clarity when it came to building a financial blueprint. I believe this is often due to a lack of education or feeling intimidated by the unknown, and I knew I could offer guidance and reassurance.

I chose to work at Thrivent because I felt my experience and talents aligned with its mission. Thrivent offers stability in an ever-changing financial world, and its strong devotion to community was especially important to me.

So far, the joy I’ve experienced in this role has come from the people I’ve met. Clients and coworkers alike share core values similar to mine. I also appreciate the ability to maintain work-life balance while building my practice. I’m known for my compassion and empathy, along with being dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to follow-through.

I’ve lived in McHenry County for the past 30 years and have been part of several school communities, sports groups, church, and neighborhood events. These experiences have helped me build many long-lasting and extraordinary friendships. I feel blessed to have raised my sons in this community. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, gardening, and watching my son play baseball. I spend most of my time with my two sons, my friends, and my grand-dog, Rico. I’m also a member of the Crystal Lake, Cary, and Huntley Chambers of Commerce.

I joined Thrivent in June 2022 and serve as the Office Professional for our team. I take pride in being the organizational backbone of the office. I’m reliable, highly organized, and focused on keeping day-to-day operations running efficiently.

I’m known for my follow-through and ability to manage tasks with precision, and I especially enjoy supporting our clients when they call in. Helping ensure their experience is smooth and positive is one of the most rewarding parts of my role.

Outside of work, I enjoy boating, playing pickleball, and spending time with friends and family. My husband, Mike, and I have two children. Our son, Will, works as a mechanical engineer, and our daughter, Kate, is a sophomore at the University of Kentucky.
