Our team

When Joel joined Thrivent in 2017, he came with decades of management and business relationship experience. Previously, he was the president and CEO of an international agriculture company serving the dairy industry. Earlier in his career, Joel was a vice president and regional manager for Ecolab. Drawing on his business acumen and faith, he focuses on helping individuals and business owners strategically plan for their financial future and spread generosity.  

Joel and his wife, Brenda, enjoy family time with their four daughters and eight grandchildren. They have lived in Reedsburg for more than 30 years and are active members of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Joel also serves on the RAMC Board of Directors and is the vice chairman of the board at Reedsburg Area Medical Center. His hobbies include golfing, biking, boating and spending time with family. 

Nathan joined our team in 2019 and has a passion for helping young families and businesses be wise with money and spread generosity. He is also the president of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and loves being involved in the community.  

Nathan and his wife, Theresa, have three children, ages 15, 13 and 11. His hobbies include camping, pickleball and playing on the church softball league. Nathan also enjoys spending time with his family and trying new restaurants and wineries with his wife. 

Huey joined Thrivent in 2024 and his love of service and community involvement makes our team a great fit for him. He is passionate about helping clients work toward their financial goals while living lives of meaning and gratitude.  

When he’s not at the office, you can often find Huey taking care of his wife, Birgita, their two young children and their chickens. He and his family love to host dinner parties, go on adventures, be active members of their parish and go boating.  

Sarah joined Covenant Financial Group in 2019 and helps ensure clients have a streamlined experience while working toward their financial goals. She is a lifelong learner who enjoys the opportunities and challenges that come with working in financial services and helping others.  

Outside of work, Sarah is passionate about spending time with her active children, serving at her church and planning vacations and nature adventures for her family.  

Carrie joined Thrivent in 2017 and is our operations manager. She has extensive experience in operations management, having previously run the office for her father’s masonry business. Carrie strives to provide excellent client service and gladly shares her smile and kindness with everyone she meets. She also supports our financial advisors so they can best serve you.  

Carrie and her family reside in Reedsburg and are members of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Outside of work, she keeps busy with her husband, three sons and golden retriever. Carrie is a proud hockey mom whose hobbies include reading, daily walks and do-it-yourself projects.  

Danielle began working for Covenant Financial Group in August 2023. Before joining us, she owned a small business in Reedsburg for eight years and is happy to continue serving the community as a member of our team. Danielle is also a licensed massage therapist. 

Danielle is married and has a daughter and son. She enjoys helping coach her kids’ sports and running school fundraisers and events. Danielle and her family also enjoy traveling, gardening, sports and spending time outdoors.  

Brooke started working for Thrivent in 2022 and is our marketing coordinator. She is originally from Reedsburg and enjoys connecting with and serving our clients in the area.  

Brooke and her husband, Dave, keep busy with their two children who are very active in youth sports. Her family enjoys traveling, hiking, biking and camping together. Brooke’s hobbies include reading, cooking, working out, watching her kids play sports and spending time with friends and family.  

Mary joined Covenant Financial Group in 2024 and has more than 40 years of experience working in financial services with IDS, American Express, Ameriprise, Wells Fargo and Principal Financial. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of St. Catherine.  

Mary is an active member of the community and volunteers for Kid’s Ranch, Pineview Elementary School’s reading program and her church. She has three adult children and six grandchildren. In her spare time, Mary enjoys gardening, hiking, biking, genealogy, chasing after her grandkids, being with family, attending small group bible study, cooking and doing puzzles.   

Lauren recently graduated from college and joined Thrivent in June 2024. She is dedicated to keeping our office organized and running smoothly. In addition, Lauren values our supportive work environment and commitment to helping the community.  

When she’s not at the office, Lauren enjoys rock climbing, swimming and spending time outdoors. She also helps cater events at her church and in the community.  

Tricia joined Thrivent in January 2025. She has 18 prior years in customer service and management. She enjoys being the first friendly face our clients see and building genuine connections with them.

Tricia is from Yuba, WI, but made Reedsburg her home with her husband and four kids (11, 9, 6, & 3). She is very involved with all their youth activities, including competitive dance. Her favorite thing to do is watch her children do what gives them joy. She also enjoys running, being outdoors, spending time with her family, and volunteering her time at their school and parish.
