Our story

Joel joined Thrivent in 2016 and started Covenant Financial Group in 2019. After years of serving as CEO of an international company and, before that, as a vice president for Ecolab, Joel decided to make a career change. Drawing on his business acumen, faith and interest in finances, he chose to become a financial advisor with Thrivent.  

From the beginning, Covenant Financial Group’s focus has been to help individuals and business owners be wise with money and make the most of their blessings. Our team finds great fulfillment in working with clients who share our faith and values, and we feel honored to help them live lives of generosity and abundance.
