About Collin Looman

I chose a career in financial advising after seeing firsthand how difficult life can become without a clear financial plan. Growing up, I watched friends and family work hard yet still struggle financially. This was not due to a lack of effort, but a lack of guidance and long-term planning.

Today, I work primarily with young families who want to build a strong financial foundation and with pre-retirees and retirees who want clarity and confidence as they transition into retirement. I’m also particularly passionate about estate and legacy planning, helping clients ensure that the wealth they’ve built over a lifetime is transferred intentionally to family members and charitable causes that matter most to them.

I believe money is not an end goal, but a tool. When used thoughtfully, it creates stability, protects families, and allows people to focus their time and energy on what truly matters. My goal is for every client to feel confident they have a plan in place, one that supports both their immediate needs and their long-term vision for the future.

Outside of my work as a financial advisor, I value consistency, growth, and community. I enjoy staying active, reading daily, and spending time with my fiancé, Reghan. At home, much of our time is spent with our two dogs, Scarlet and Gator, who keep life both active and entertaining. I’m also actively involved in community organizations throughout the valley and enjoy volunteering, particularly with animal-focused causes.

Why training a puppy isn’t that different from building wealth We’ve been training a puppy recently, and it’s reminded me a lot of how long-term progress actually works. Some days feel great. Other days feel like nothing is sticking. You stay consistent anyway. You pick a training style and commit to it, not because it’s perfect, but because changing directions every bad day can lead to failure. Day to day, it can feel slow. Like you’re not doing enough. Like it’s not working. But months… years later? You’re grateful for every single repetition you didn’t skip. Wealth works the same way. Progress isn’t loud. Consistency compounds. And the payoff only shows up after patience does.
