Hi, I’m Cody, a financial advisor with Thrivent since 2016. I help individuals and families prepare for and navigate important financial transitions by creating strategies that align with what matters most to them. My approach is rooted in providing structure, clarity, and ongoing guidance—so clients feel supported as life and priorities evolve.
My work is guided by core values of family, integrity, security, excellence, and meaningful work. I believe a thoughtful financial plan is not just about numbers, but about understanding goals, preparing for potential risks, and adapting along the way. I partner closely with clients and, when appropriate, their other professionals to help ensure their financial strategies remain aligned with their values over time.
I grew up in Michigan’s Thumb, where I met my wife, Hannah. Together we have two children, Avery and Weston, and our dog, Chloe. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors and with my family. I’m an active member of Zion Lutheran Church and proudly serve on the Sherman Township Fire Department.

After graduating from Grand Valley State University with a degree in finance, I knew I wanted to make a positive difference in people’s financial lives. As I learned more about Thrivent, their mission and values closely aligned with my own, making it a natural fit.
Thrivent allows me to provide personalized financial guidance while being supported by a Fortune 500 organization with a long-standing history of serving clients. By operating a local Thrivent practice, I’m able to work closely with individuals and families, offering guidance tailored to their unique goals, values, and circumstances.
