Christopher Smiley, CFP®

Christopher joined Thrivent in January of 2022 as the Market Director for the Kansas City, Springfield, MO, and Wichita, KS metro areas. In this role he is responsible for the growth and development of financial advisors within these markets as well as attracting top talent to become Thrivent financial professionals.

Prior to joining Thrivent, Christopher has been a financial advisor since 2012 and continues to serve clients, helping them to achieve their financial goals through the use of holistic financial planning, products and services.

Christopher and his wife Emily live on a small farm just outside of Parkville, MO and they have three children, Nathan, Natalie, and Noah.

Christopher also serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army Reserve as an Engineer Officer and is currently an instructor for the US Army Command and General Staff College.
