About Chris Ayers

Chris Ayers is proud to serve the Bloomington-Normal community as a Financial Advisor, where he has worked and raised a family. His wife Kristen continues to teach special needs students at Bloomington Junior High, and his son Caden is local, too, in steel manufacturing. Daughter Kelsie is a nurse at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

Chris is active in the community; when not working in the office or spending time with his family, you can find him volunteering for the Salvation Army or participating in community events.

Proud to have built my beautiful family here in BloNo

Folks, I put my money where my mouth is. My wife and I are deeply invested in the Bloomington-Normal community. We've lived here for decades, and both of my kids (pictured to my left!) graduated from Bloomington High School. We are active with local organizations, including the Salvation Army. I don't just sell insurance and investment products here—I live here.

I love this community and am proud to have built my family here.

Week 3 — Myth vs. Fact 🤔 LIFE INSURANCE: MYTH vs. FACT Myth: “I’m young and healthy, so I don’t need life insurance yet.” Fact: Life insurance isn’t only about age—it’s about protecting the people who depend on you and preparing for the unexpected. Myth: “Life insurance is only for parents.” Fact: There are many reasons someone without children might consider coverage, including protecting a spouse, covering debts, supporting a business, or planning for future financial needs. Myth: “I already have coverage through work, so I’m all set.” Fact: Employer-sponsored coverage can be an important benefit, but it’s worth understanding how much you have and what happens to that coverage if you change jobs. This September, take a few minutes to understand what you have—and whether it still fits your life. #LifeInsuranceAwarenessMonth #LifeInsurance #FinancialEducation #KnowYourCoverage See thrivent.com/social for important disclosures.
