About Charmin Erickson

I'm proud to be a Thrivent financial professional. I provide personalized financial guidance to people at all stages of life. At Thrivent, we view money not as a goal, but as a tool — one that can afford you a life rich in meaning and gratitude. We believe humanity thrives when individuals make the most of all they've been given. I'm here to help you do just that.

Who is Charmin Erickson?

Hi, I’m Charmin, a financial advisor with Thrivent, based in Burnsville, MN, and living in Shakopee. My husband, Ross, and I have two wonderful kids—Emilee, a college freshman, and Colby, a high school freshman—and two lively sheepadoodles, Elly and Pearl, who keep us laughing every day.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time with family and friends, traveling, camping, hiking, or playing sports like volleyball, tennis, and pickleball. I also love attending concerts and trying new adventures—it’s all about making memories and living life to the fullest!

My Reason

As a former teacher, I’ve always enjoyed guiding others to that ‘aha’ moment, where things suddenly make sense. Now, as a financial advisor, I get to do the same thing—only instead of teaching reading, writing, and arithmetic, I’m helping individuals and families understand their finances.

I chose Thrivent because it reflects my personal values: a commitment to community, a holistic approach to financial planning, and a focus on helping people live a life of purpose. I find fulfillment in building genuine relationships, understanding my clients’ goals, and creating plans tailored to their dreams. Helping my clients feel confident and in control of their financial decisions is what drives me every day.
