Every family and business owner has a unique story, which is why I believe financial planning should start with understanding what matters most to you. Before discussing investments, insurance, or strategies, I take time to learn about your values, goals, and vision for the future. Together, we create a plan designed to help align your financial resources with the people, causes, and priorities that are most important to you.
My areas of focus include legacy planning, family-centered financial planning, and tax-efficient wealth strategies. I help families think intentionally about how their assets can support future generations, charitable organizations, and the values they want to pass along. From retirement and education planning to caring for aging parents, charitable giving, and wealth transfer, I focus on creating strategies that help maximize the impact of your resources while considering tax implications. My goal is to help you make confident decisions that strengthen your family, support the causes you care about, and create a lasting legacy.
At the end of the day, I believe money is a tool, not the destination. A well-designed financial plan should help you live generously, care for the people you love, and pursue the goals that matter most. My role is to listen, educate, and partner with you in creating a strategy that supports the life you want to live today while preparing for the future you hope to create.

Outside of helping clients prepare for the future, my greatest joy is spending time with my wife, Kristin, our children, and our Labrador retriever, Diver. Family is at the center of everything I do, and many of my favorite memories are made outdoors together.
You'll often find us hiking, enjoying a day at the beach, spending time on the lake, boating, water skiing, scuba diving, or simply exploring new adventures as a family. I value experiences that bring people together. Kristin and I are avid scuba divers, and we enjoy opportunities to travel and explore beneath the surface whenever we can.
Ask me what I enjoy most outside of work, and my answer is simple: making memories with the people I love. At this stage of life, I happily embrace the activities, adventures, and traditions my children enjoy, knowing these seasons pass quickly and the memories last a lifetime.
Faith and service are also important parts of my life. My family and I are actively involved in our church and enjoy serving alongside local ministries and community organizations. I recently started a scuba club at my son's school, Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach, and use scuba as a unique opportunity for ministry and mentorship. Kristin and I also serve at the Myrtle Beach Weekend to Remember marriage retreat, where we have the privilege of encouraging and investing in other couples. Whether through our church, community, or these ministry opportunities, we are always looking for ways to serve others, build meaningful relationships, and make a positive impact.
I first started investing in high school. My dad taught me at a young age to invest and keep investing. I took an economics class where we “played” a stock market game. Everyone in the class put in $40, and the teacher let us trade stocks throughout the year. Whoever made the most money that year won the game. I remember investing in Sunglass Hut and winning the game. From there, I was hooked and have loved investing ever since!
That was 30 years ago. Since then, I have learned much more about my passions: investing and helping people. I no longer “play” the stock market as a game. Instead, I use it as a tool to help you pursue your financial goals and dreams. I have spent the majority of my life serving people and helping them get where they want to be. Along the way, I earned my Doctorate of Ministry and became a certified life and leadership coach.
My goal is to help you pursue your financial goals and feel more informed about the decisions you're making. Not sure what your financial goals are yet? No problem! I will sit down with you, help you create your goals and dreams, and partner with you on a strategy to help make them happen.
I will help you navigate important financial decisions so you can focus on the things that matter most to you. What would it mean to have greater clarity around your finances, future, and goals? I am here to serve you, listen to you, and help you pursue your goals and dreams.
