Erica has been with Thrivent since 2013 and is our team’s lead financial advisor. She is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. She knew at a very young age that she wanted to follow in her father’s footsteps and make a positive impact on people’s lives through her work.

Erica develops comprehensive, customized dedicated plans for her clients that are tailored to their unique goals, concerns, and needs. She takes a holistic approach to retirement planning, considering all aspects of her clients' financial lives to ensure they are well-prepared for retirement. Her advanced designations and experience in the field make her a sought-after advisor for clients looking to plan for a secure financial future.

Raised in Vacaville, Erica loves this community and is committed to giving back. In addition to her role as a financial consultant, Erica serves on the board of directors as the administrative coordinator for the Vacaville Christian Ministry Association (VCMA), an organization that is very close to her heart.

When she's not in the office, she enjoys traveling and exploring new places. One of her personal goals is to visit every US National Park, and she is well on her way to achieving it. With her deep roots in the Vacaville community, passion for helping others, and expertise in financial planning, Erica is committed to providing her clients with the best possible advice and guidance to help them achieve their financial goals. Whether it's developing a comprehensive dedicated plan or focusing on tax-efficient strategies, Erica is dedicated to helping her clients achieve financial security and peace of mind.

Paul is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and has been a part of the team since 2001. He serves as our team’s wealth manager.

With years of experience in the financial industry, Paul has developed an impressive reputation for his expertise in investment management. He works closely with clients to assess their unique financial situations and develop tailored investment strategies that align with their goals and risk tolerance.

Paul is known for his ability to explain complex financial concepts in simple, easy-to-understand terms, and for empowering our clients with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed decisions. He is passionate about helping others achieve financial success and is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of his clients.

Paul has been working part time in the Vacaville office since 2018, and now spends the majority of the year in Eagle, Idaho.

He has been married to Denise since 1986 and has two daughters, Erica and Charlotte.

When he’s not in the office, Paul enjoys watching his favorite baseball team, the San Francisco Giants, beat the Dodgers, and spending quality time with his family. He loves going on cruises with Denise, and playing card games with his family.

Jake joined Thrivent in 2022, bringing with him extensive expertise in Franchise Operations Management. With a proven track record of successfully overseeing 16 locations and managing approximately 130 employees, his remarkable abilities have fortified our team with strength and synergy. From the moment Jake joined the Capitol Corridor Group, it was evident that he already had a deep commitment to Thrivent's mission; captivated by the profound impact that effective financial planning can have on individuals' lives.

As an integral member of our team, Jake works closely with our team’s lead advisors to support them in develop customized dedicated financial plans tailored to our clients' unique needs and aspirations. Behind the scenes, he plays an essential role in driving the seamless execution of our financial and investment management strategies. From handling paperwork and coordinating meetings to providing excellent client service, Jake ensures that every aspect of our clients' financial journey is thoughtfully managed. He is dedicated to helping our clients achieve financial clarity. 

Jake lives in North Idaho with his wife, Sarah, and their five children. Family is everything to him, and their shared values of giving back to their church and community have only deepened since becoming part of Thrivent. 

Beyond his work and philanthropic pursuits, Jake is an avid enthusiast of cutting-edge technology and applications. Which makes him an invaluable team member as he is always striving to improve our processes and use of technology. When he’s not working, you'll often find him exploring "hole in the wall" mom-and-pop restaurants, supporting local businesses, and having memorable experiences with his family. They love being outdoors and enjoy exploring new places and cultures together. 

Serving as our team’s Director of Operations, Denise is the backbone of the Capitol Corridor Group. She is responsible for overseeing client interactions, handling our internal processes, and ensuring that our team operates efficiently and effectively.

Denise joined our team in 2016 after retiring from a long and successful career in public service. She has held a variety of positions, ranging from Records Clerk, Crime Scene Investigator, and Identifications and Records Services Manager. She is a natural leader and excels at streamlining processes and training our newer team members. She is highly efficient, and her excellent follow-through ensures that tasks are completed on time and to the highest standard.

Denise’s talents extend beyond managing our team effectively. Although she may not admit it, Denise is an incredible cook who loves to use fresh produce from her garden to create delicious meals for her family. She also has a heart for serving her community and always uses her personal Thrivent Action Teams to bless several of her favorite nonprofits each year!

Denise treasures the ability to work alongside her husband and daughter. She is dedicated to her work and is constantly striving to improve our team's performance. We are fortunate to have her on our team and know that she will continue to make significant contributions to our success.

Heidi Haugen serves the team by handling all of our dedicated financial planning operations, including entries into our retirement planning software. With her extensive experience in employer benefit programs and leading Financial Peace University classes at her church, Heidi is truly passionate about helping others achieve their financial goals. Her meticulous approach ensures that our clients receive the most accurate and up-to-date information possible, allowing them to make informed financial decisions with confidence when they meet with our team’s financial advisors. Her organization skills and attention to detail ensure that our financial planning operations run seamlessly and proficiently.

Heidi's commitment to service extends beyond the office. She is actively involved at her church, The Father’s House, where she serves on both the production team and in the foster care ministry. She values meaningful work and service, and her dedication to these values shines through in all that she does. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, traveling, and watching martial arts movies. She has travelled to New Zealand, India, England & France and hopes to visit Australia and more of Europe in the future.

Cindy takes care of a range of administrative tasks, such as managing schedules, organizing client meetings, processing forms, and answering our team’s incoming calls. One of Cindy's greatest strengths is her ability to proactively identify and solve problems. Cindy is also kind, friendly, and approachable. She has a natural ability to connect with people and takes the time to understand your unique needs and preferences. Cindy's love for family and faith has been a constant in her life since she married her husband Phil in 1984. Together, they have two wonderful children and worship at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Vacaville, where Phil serves as their lead pastor. In her free time, she enjoys learning new things, gardening, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.

Working for our team remotely, Sarah recently moved to Edmond, Oklahoma with her husband, Kyle. She has a pivotal role in our team as she manages all appointment preparation and reminders, in addition to scheduling client appointments; she ensures that everything runs smoothly for our clients.

When Sarah is not working, she loves spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Layla and Leo. They enjoy long walks and frequently travel to explore new places and visit family. For Sarah, family is a top priority and brings her immense joy and fulfillment.

Sarah's positivity and enthusiasm are contagious and are among her most endearing qualities. Her high energy and optimistic outlook on life make her a joy to work with, she is always willing to lend a helping hand and goes above and beyond to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
