I became passionate about financial planning because I saw firsthand the emotional weight that financial stress can place on people’s lives. I have watched finances contribute to overwhelming stress, sleepless nights, strained relationships, anxiety about the future, and in many cases, even families being torn apart. What stood out most to me was that personal finance impacts almost every part of our lives, yet it’s something most people are never really taught in school unless they choose to learn about it on their own.
Because of that, I made it a personal goal at a young age to learn about money and the financial system on my own so I would never have to experience the same financial stress I saw around me. What started as simply wanting to understand finances eventually turned into a real passion for how money can be used as a tool. Not just to build wealth, but to create freedom, opportunities, security, generosity, and financial clarity.
Today, my mission is to help individuals and families gain clarity around their finances, develop strong financial habits, and become more purposeful with how they use money to create the future they want and deserve.
To me, financial planning is about far more than transactions, products, or quick conversations. It’s about building real relationships and being someone people can trust through all stages of life. That means being there as careers change, families grow, goals evolve, markets shift, and unexpected challenges come up along the way. My goal is to serve as a long-term resource for the people and families I work with. Someone they can turn to for guidance, education, clarity, and honest conversations as life changes around them.
I care deeply about the people I work with, and I believe financial advice should feel personal, supportive, and educational. My goal is for clients to feel comfortable asking questions, understanding why decisions are being made, and gaining confidence in their future. Not feeling pressured by sales tactics, overwhelmed by financial jargon, or pushed toward recommendations that don’t truly align with what matters most to them.
Every person and family I work with has their own goals, values, and priorities, which is why I believe financial advice should never be one-size-fits-all. I take the time to understand what is truly important to the people I work with so the guidance they receive actually fits their life, their situation, and the direction they want to go.

My journey into financial planning started long before it became my career.
At 17 years old, I began teaching myself about personal finance, investing, credit, retirement accounts, and the financial system because I wanted to understand how money really worked. On my 18th birthday I opened my first investment account, Roth IRA, and credit card to begin building the same financial habits I now encourage others to develop.
By the time I graduated high school, I already knew this was the field I wanted to dedicate my life to. I attended Northern Michigan University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management, graduated Summa Cum Laude with Highest Honors and a 3.96 GPA, and completed my degree a semester early. During college, I was selected as part of the university’s Student Managed Investment Fund, where I worked alongside a small group of students helping manage a portion of the university’s endowment investment portfolio. I also began working in the financial planning industry during my junior year of college and started completing my professional licensing before I even graduated. That early hands-on experience gave me the opportunity to work with a wide range of individuals and families, including teachers, healthcare professionals, engineers, business owners, retirees, and young professionals, all with different goals, concerns, and financial situations. Those experiences reinforced something I strongly believe today: good financial planning is about far more than investments alone. It’s about helping people make thoughtful decisions across every area of their financial life and giving them someone they can trust through all stages of life.
After college, my girlfriend of over five years and I made the move from Michigan to North Carolina alongside our two boxers to build the lifestyle and future we envisioned for ourselves. During that transition, I had several opportunities in front of me, but ultimately chose to join Thrivent because the company’s values aligned closely with my own, both personally and professionally.
As a Christian, faith, integrity, generosity, and serving others are all deeply important to me, and I wanted to build my career in an environment that genuinely reflected those values.
Today, I continue building my practice around relationships, education, and comprehensive financial planning. I currently hold my Series 7, Series 66, SIE, and Life & Health Insurance licenses. More than anything, I feel incredibly fortunate to do work that I genuinely enjoy. Learning about personal finance, investing, the economy, and the markets has never felt like “work” to me. It’s something I naturally spend time reading, researching, and learning about because I truly enjoy understanding how these things impact my own life, and I’m grateful that I get to use that knowledge to help others improve their financial futures as well.
Whether you feel highly organized financially or completely overwhelmed about where to start, my goal is simply to be a resource and help bring clarity to the areas of life and finances that matter most to you. I know financial conversations can sometimes feel intimidating, stressful, or overly complicated, which is why my approach is centered around simply getting to know people first. The initial conversation is not about pressure, judgment, or pushing products. It’s about understanding two things: what goals and future aspirations are most important to you, and what concerns, stresses, or questions may be standing in the way.
I want people to feel comfortable having honest conversations about money without feeling embarrassed, overwhelmed, or talked down to. My goal is for every meeting to feel more like getting to know a trusted resource and less like a typical financial meeting. Whether we end up working together or not, my hope is that every conversation leaves people feeling more informed, more confident, and more clear about their financial future than they were before.
It’s never too early or too late to start a conversation, and I’d genuinely love the opportunity to connect and learn more about your story.
