With Our Team Practice, We Help People Find Financial Clarity
Life is full of important decisions, and planning for your financial future can feel overwhelming. That’s why we’re here—to help you answer the questions that matter most. Here are some of the top questions our clients ask us today:
- .How do I adjust my retirement plan for market volatility and economic uncertainty?
- .When should I start drawing Social Security—and what strategy maximizes my benefits?
- .How do I protect my portfolio against inflation and rising interest rates?
- .Should I pay off my mortgage or keep investing?
- .Is a Roth conversion right for me—and how do I diversify for tax efficiency?
- .How will taxes impact my retirement income and estate plan?
- .What strategies can help me leave a lasting legacy for my family and favorite causes?
- .How do I integrate charitable giving or digital assets into my financial plan?
- .What steps should I take to prepare for unexpected life events like disability or premature death?
If any of these questions—or others—are keeping you up at night, let’s connect and create a plan that gives you confidence and clarity.

As a life-long learner, I truly enjoy hearing the sage advice and life lessons from my more experienced clients and then sharing that wisdom (along with encouragement) with my younger clients. Despite an ever-changing world, the principals of biblically-wise counsel stand firm.
I have always enjoyed investments and planning, and anyone who knows me also knows that I love spreadsheets! These interests brought me to this career in 2007. As a Christian, there is no better place than Thrivent to allow me to express my faith and talents while helping others connect their faith and finances for good.
I enjoy spending time with my wife (Tracie) and two children (Andrew and Ellie), travel, movies, football, hunting, and hobby farming. I attend Friendship Lutheran Church of Joy in Champaign. My favorite quote is: “Until you figure out the destination, any path will do” (Michael Hyatt), and my favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11.
