About Braden Murphy

Hi there! My Journey has always been shaped by teamwork, discipline, and a heart for serving others. I grew up playing a variety of sports such as baseball, soccer, football, and basketball, but ultimately focused on baseball. After a successful high school career capped off with a 2019 National Championship and a #1 national ranking, I went on to play Division 1 baseball at the University of California, Irvine, and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

While earning my degree in Economics, I developed a strong interest in personal finance and how it impacts people's lives. I began to see how financial clarity and confidence could transform not only someone's present but also their future. After graduation, I spent time coaching baseball, where I continued mentoring and investing in the next generation-a role that deeply resonated with me.

Eventually, I realized I wanted to serve people in a different but equally meaningful way by helping them navigate their financial lives. That led me to Thrivent. Being part of a mission-driven, faith-based organization has given me the opportunity to combine my passion for helping others with the tools and support to make a lasting impact. Whether it's planning for retirement, optimizing cash flow, or making smart investment decisions, I find purpose in walking alongside individuals and families as they pursue financial clarity and confidence.

Outside of work, I stay active through workouts, pickleball, and pickup basketball games. My nights usually include catching up on must-watch shows or watching the Angels and Lakers test my patience. Either way, I make sure I don't miss a Marvel movie on opening night.
