I am a Financial Advisor specializing in retirement planning, retirement distribution strategies, and tax efficiency. My career began in 1994 after I graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Actuarial Science. Since then, I’ve dedicated my professional life to insurance and investment services, and I’ve been serving clients at Thrivent since 2004. As a Thrivent/AAL member, I value the faith-based approach to finances and appreciate how it shapes my work.
I love working with numbers, but what inspires me most is learning about my clients’ goals and priorities—and helping them achieve financial confidence. I am proud to hold the CFP® professional certification.
Outside of work, I live in Decatur, Indiana, with my husband, Don, and our two children, DJ and Kate. You’ll often find us in the gym or on the sidelines, cheering on DJ and Kate as they compete in basketball and soccer. When we’re not at a sporting event, we enjoy spending time with friends and family.
I am passionate about serving my community. I am a board member of the Lutheran Scholarship Granting Organization of Indiana and actively involved in my church, Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Friedheim. My approach to financial advising is personal, thoughtful, and grounded in a desire to serve. I find joy in connecting with clients and helping them build a future that reflects their values.
