Misty and Brittney attended Thrivent’s BDC this year, where they spent last week learning new skills, gaining valuable insights from industry speakers, and connecting with colleagues they don’t often get to see—while also meeting new ones! BDC provides a valuable opportunity for Thrivent advisors to come together, share ideas, and learn from one another.
Mark and Shawna recently had an incredible experience traveling through Israel! It was powerful to see places they had read about in the Bible come to life and to walk through so many meaningful, historic sites. The trip offered a deeper connection to their faith, along with the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life, experience diverse cultures, and enjoy incredible local cuisine. One especially meaningful moment was Shawna’s baptism in the Jordan River—an unforgettable highlight of an already life-changing journey!
We’re excited to welcome Adielle to the Atlas Wealth Advisors team! 🎉 She’s joining us with great enthusiasm and a desire to learn more about the finance industry, and we can’t wait to see her grow and thrive. Sara was honored to be part of a team led by Thrivent colleagues Karen and Jason Moehring building a house in Guatemala last week. This amazing group (including her son and cousin) completed the whole house from dirt to finish in just three days for a precious family with two young children!
Atlas Wealth is also looking forward to hosting disaster relief projects in Asheville and Maui later this year!

This October, Mark and Sara had the incredible opportunity to work with Habitat for Humanity in Brazil. The team included top Thrivent advisors and corporate representatives. They partnered with local professionals to build a total of eight water cisterns for eight families and their communities.
We will also be hosting teams of Thrivent members in Asheville and Maui to support Thrivent Builds disaster relief in 2026.
