Our story

Cathleen and Melissa, the lead advisors of the Arbors Group, are a mother-daughter team who have worked together for 20 years. Before Melissa began her financial services career 30 years ago, she was a professional volunteer who served on the PTA and then on the Austin ISD School Board for two terms. After Cathleen completed graduate school at Baylor, Melissa and a now-retired founding member of Arbors Group recruited Cathleen to join their team.

Melissa’s desire to help people achieve financial clarity and confidence is the driving force behind her work with clients. Cathleen enjoys helping clients solve challenges and find efficiencies as they move through their busy lives.
