Thanksgiving Food Drive
Our 2025 Abiding Love Food Pantry Fundraiser made a meaningful difference for families in our community. Abiding Love Food Pantry provides essential food staples to 200 families—nearly 900 individuals—every Monday, ensuring neighbors have reliable access to nourishment and basic household necessities.
This effort was strengthened by the incredible support of Bethany Lutheran Church members, who came together to help organize a food drive that partnered with our donation event. Their hands‑on involvement and generosity helped expand the impact of the fundraiser and ensured even more essential items reached families in need.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we raised $6,000, which was further amplified by a $3,000 Thrivent match, bringing the total impact to $9,000. These funds will be used to purchase much‑needed food and household items, including canned vegetables and fruit, soup, pasta and sauce, peanut butter, jelly, macaroni and cheese, rice, toilet tissue, dish and laundry soap, and hygiene products.
Together, this combined financial and food‑drive support helps keep pantry shelves stocked and supports families facing food insecurity with dignity and care. We are deeply grateful to Bethany Lutheran Church members, our donors, and all who supported this effort—your generosity helps ensure that hundreds of individuals have access to essential food and household items each week.
