Piqua Holiday Horse Parade
Piqua Celebrates the Season with a Magical Illumination and Holiday Horse Parade. Join us in downtown Piqua for an enchanting evening filled with beautifully decorated horses and carriages, all aglow for the holiday season. The festivities will kick off with Piqua’s Magical Illumination at 6:30 PM in front of Fort Piqua Plaza, where the brand-new Christmas tree and downtown Piqua will be lit for the holidays. Gather with friends and family to celebrate this magical moment, marking our beloved town’s official start of the holiday season. The parade will traverse its scenic route, starting at Greene Street, continuing to Caldwell Street, turning onto High Street towards Wayne Street, and then briefly onto Market Street before returning to Main Street. Spectators can enjoy the magical sights and sounds of the holiday season as over 40 equestrian participants celebrate in style. This year’s parade promises to be a spectacular showcase of holiday cheer, featuring illuminated horses, festive decorations, and the joyful spirit of our community. Bring your loved ones, grab a hot drink or bite to eat from one of our downtown restaurants or food trucks, find a cozy spot along the parade route, and join in the holiday festivities.
Piqua's Christmas on the Green
On Friday, December 5th, the Mainstreet Piqua Christmas on the Green event will take place from 6 – 9 p.m. throughout downtown Piqua. The event will include carriage rides, community caroling, children’s activities, and live music. A highlight of the event will be a live performance by the Piqua High School show choir “The Company” at 6:45 p.m. The centerpiece of the Christmas on the Green event, community caroling at the NEW Christmas Tree, will occur at 7 p.m. Christmas on the Green is fun for all family members, and many of downtown Piqua’s stores will be open extended hours for the event.
Santa Trolley
Grab your friends and family and join the Thrivent Member Network - Ohio Valley Region as we jump about the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum's Santa Trolley.
During this event, you will have the opportunity to step aboard a festive trolley with Santa, enjoy a cheerful chat with the jolly man himself, and capture a special moment with him before your ride concludes. But the magic doesn’t stop there—you’ll also join fellow Thrivent Members and their guests for a breakfast plus, take part in a generosity activity that spreads joy beyond the event itself.

Conservatory Aglow
Grab your friends and family and join the Thrivent Member Network - Ohio Valley Region as we enjoy the sights of the season at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens’ Conservatory Aglow.
During this event, you will have the opportunity to step into a breathtaking wonderland of lights and immersive experiences as the gardens and interior biomes are transformed into a dazzling spectacle. Enjoy the magic of the season while gathering with fellow Thrivent Members and their guests for dessert in the Conservatory's Wells Barn plus, take part in a generosity activity, embracing the spirit of giving.
