About Andrew Duncan
My Community
I was raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and graduated from Pioneer High School before earning a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education in Social Studies from Eastern Michigan University. Swimming has always been a central part of my life, and after retiring from competitive swimming, I joined the swim club program at Lincoln Consolidated Schools. In 2018, I became the head coach of the Riptides Swim Club, and I later founded the Lincoln Aquatics Club USA Swimming program, where I am proud to serve as both head coach and director. Coaching has been an incredible way for me to give back to the community, and I am deeply committed to supporting the growth and development of young swimmers.
Through coaching, I met my wife, and we were recently married in August 2024. We are excited to grow our roots in Ypsilanti, where we are active in the community with our two dogs, Opal and Piper, and our cat, Ozzy. Being part of a vibrant community is incredibly important to us, and we look forward to continuing to serve and contribute in meaningful ways.
