Financial Advice Tailored to Your Needs
Financial Advice Tailored to Your Needs

I am a husband to an amazing, selfless wife and a proud father to two wonderful and adventurous young boys. My motivation for the work I do is rooted in my desire to provide for them while giving back to my community. As a Christian, I believe that serving others is my calling, and I take great pride in seeing my efforts come to fruition as I help hardworking individuals and families achieve financial clarity and security.

How I Can Support You:

  • Gaining clarity around your cash flow and building a sustainable budget

  • Helping protect your family against the financial impact of disability, long-term care needs, or loss of life

  • Managing investments with your goals in mind while providing personalized planning services

  • Designing tax-efficient strategies to grow and preserve wealth

  • Living generously and making an impact on the communities and causes you care about

  • Creating a reliable retirement income strategy, along with thoughtful legacy, wealth, and charitable giving plans

Uncovering your financial goals may seem simple, but the journey to achieving them can be complex and overwhelming. The good news is, you don’t have to go it alone.

It all starts with a conversation, and I would love to have one with you to help guide you on your financial path, as I believe that true success is not just about wealth, but about the peace and purpose we find in helping others.

A Little About Me
A Little About Me

I grew up in the small town of Monroe, in southeast Michigan. After heading west to attend Michigan State University, I landed my first job in Grand Rapids—and I’ve been proud to call West Michigan home for the past 16 years.

In 2016, I met my wife Amy, and a year and a half later we were married. Since then, our family has grown with the arrival of our two boys, Aiden and Asher, who keep life fun, busy, and full of purpose.

I was raised with a strong Christian foundation, something I’m deeply grateful for. My mom was a prayer warrior who taught us the power of daily conversation with God and staying rooted in Scripture. She passed away in 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. My dad, who worked long hours at the local newspaper, still made it a point to be present at our games and school events. Now retired, he remains active in our hometown community, serving through church and Stephen Ministry—when he's not busy enjoying time with his grandkids.

My family is my motivation in all things. It's what led me to my calling in the financial field: helping other hardworking families create stability and financial clarity for their future. Life can be chaotic, and financial planning often takes a backseat to the demands of work and parenting. I’m here to step into that gap—to help make sense of the complex, to take some of the weight off, and to create clear, confident plans that support your goals, your values, and the people who matter most to you.

Community Involvement & Service Passion

I am an active volunteer with Byron Public Schools, committed to fostering educational growth and student support. I sit on the Advisory board for Covenant House Grand Rapids and enjoy helping their mission of serving homeless youth across the state. Passionate advocate for Hand2Hand, supporting efforts to end childhood hunger. Dedicated to addressing local homelessness through engagement with community-focused initiatives. Faithfully serve in the Children's Ministry at church, nurturing young hearts in a Christ-centered environment.

Fatherhood has taught me something important: I don’t have to know everything. I just need to be willing to learn, ask questions and surround myself with people who know things I don’t. Honestly, that’s one of the reasons I believe so strongly in having a good team around you financially too. You don’t need to know everything about investing, taxes, insurance, Social Security, and retirement. We just need to know who you can trust to help you navigate it. It's easy to get caught up in one piece of the puzzle. As a dad, I'm constantly reminded that my boys don't need me to optimize every single moment. They need me to see the bigger picture. Financial planning is much the same. Investments matter. Taxes matter. Retirement matters. Insurance matters. But ultimately, they're pieces of a much bigger picture: What kind of life are we trying to build, and who are we trying to bless along the way? For disclosure information, see thrivent.com/social

I'm becoming more convinced that some of the best things we can give our kids aren't things at all. They're experiences. Time together. Adventures. Traditions. Stories we'll tell for years. Financial planning isn't just about accumulating more. It's about being intentional with our resources so we can use them for the things that matter most.
