I spent the first five years of my career in accounting, which gave me a working fluency in financial statements and tax, and a habit of reading the full picture before drawing conclusions.
Born and raised in New York, I understand the fast-paced nature, the cost of living, and the particular pressure to build a career and a life at the same time. Personal goals and long-term plans tend to get lost in the shuffle. It doesn't have to be that way.
A financial plan is not one size fits all. Everyone deserves customized advice in accordance with their short- and long-term goals. My accounting background shapes how I work: I'd rather understand where you stand before suggesting anything. You don't have to figure this out alone. Let's connect and build a plan that fits you.
I work with people who've done well enough that things have gotten complicated:
- Old 401(k)s scattered across former employers
- Equity compensation they're not sure how to handle
- A family that depends on their income, and no real plan for what happens if that income stops
- Retirement close enough that the question is no longer how much to save, but how to turn what they've saved into income
- A portfolio built one decision at a time, with no strategy connecting the pieces
We start by understanding your circumstances and what you're actually trying to fund, and by when. From there I build and present a strategy, we implement it together, and we revisit it as your life changes.
Investment Planning - Coordinating scattered 401(k)s, IRAs, and taxable accounts into one strategy rather than a collection of unrelated accounts. Risk tolerance and time horizon analysis, and asset location — deciding which holdings belong in which account type.
Tax Efficiency - Asset placement across taxable, tax-deferred, and Roth accounts. Tax-loss harvesting, realized gain management, and Roth conversion timing.
Retirement Planning - Turning an accumulated balance into income: withdrawal sequencing, bracket management, Social Security timing, and how portfolio liquidation interacts with your tax picture.
Education Planning - Cost projections, funding strategies, and coordinating education savings with retirement goals rather than against them.
Protection Planning - Cash flow and debt strategy, emergency reserves, and appropriate life and disability coverage — the groundwork that determines whether the rest of the plan holds under pressure.
Equity Compensation - RSUs, stock options, and ESPPs — vesting and exercise timing, managing concentration risk as shares accumulate, and coordinating sale decisions with your broader tax picture.
Estate & Charitable Planning - Beneficiary designation review, wealth transfer coordination with your attorney and tax professional, and structuring charitable giving.
