Recently, the Upper Perkiomen YMCA and I have formed a partnership called Fitness & Finances. The Y is where I do most of my workouts — lifting, swimming, and taking their other classes which are all fun — so it’s meaningful to collaborate with them on financial education programs throughout the year.
This session focused on common questions people have as they approach retirement and provided general guidance to help attendees think through key considerations and timelines. I enjoyed being part of the event and look forward to future opportunities to support the Y community.

Recently, I was invited to do the opening Introduction & Devotional at our Thrivent Impact Days. This event was amazing because the main focus is how to serve our clients with intention and support the communities around us. It also presents us the opportunity to connect with peers from neighboring states, share ideas, and learn from one another as we continue to grow in our work. I’m grateful to be part of a community that values faith, service, and collaboration!

I’m grateful to Lebanon Valley College—and especially to the Breen Center for Student Success—for inviting me to speak at this year’s Success Exposition. As a member of the LVC Class of 2025, it was a meaningful experience to return to campus and engage with both students and staff.
During the session, we explored key principles of personal finance and the foundational concepts behind long‑term investing. We also discussed a range of investment considerations and broader financial topics designed to help students build confidence as they navigate their financial futures. It was energizing to see such thoughtful participation and curiosity from the LVC community.
Always proud to come home to the Valley. Go Dutchmen.

Andrew Filler (a veteran advisor whom I office with) and I got to give a presentation to Locust Valley Chapel about the importance of knowing the different phases an IRA / 401(k) will go through in your lifetime. Thank you to the members of Locust Valley Chapel and Pastor Terry for hosting us, and I hope everyone learned something valuable! The chilly afterwards was delicious as well!

I appreciated the opportunity to connect with members of the Upper Perkiomen YMCA community and share information about the financial guidance and generosity‑focused programs Thrivent offers. Being part of this YMCA community for the past nine years has been incredibly meaningful, and I’m grateful for the welcoming environment and the people who make it special. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and to the YMCA team for allowing me to set up a table.
