My passion for helping people be wise with money stems from the time I spent helping my aging parents make crucial financial decisions.

It was during this time that I discovered how important it is to bring families together and establish a financial plan that takes into account the various needs we encounter as we age.

God has blessed me abundantly with a fantastic family that has been with me through the ups and downs in life. My wife and I have been married for 40+ years. We have two married children and love spending time with our grandchildren. I understand the need to safeguard your family’s financial security throughout all stages of life because I had to walk through those important decisions for my own family.

In 2014 I joined Thrivent as a financial representative after retiring from 21 years of service in the United States Navy. I transitioned into a corporate training specialist position in 2016, where I provided training, support, and guidance for financial advisors across the state of Michigan. In 2018, I became a regional learning specialist covering the Southeastern United States. I focused on onboarding, training, and coaching new financial representatives to run successful practices. As rewarding as this work was, I missed the personal relationships I held with my clients.
