About Adam Marso

As the son of parents who worked in public education in small town Minnesota, I was raised knowing what it means to grow and learn from those around you. Having strong values, beliefs & life experiences is what helps me be who I am today. My values are rooted in my Christian faith and the love I have serving others in and around my communities. I joined Thrivent in 2025 and have since dedicated my work to serving the West Metro Area, individuals in and around my hometown, as well as clients nationwide. My passion is helping families & individuals reach their specific goals in life and grow in their knowledge of how to achieve them.

Professional Philosophy

At the center of what I do is to focus on Your purpose & goals, not just your money. Working with me at Thrivent, I view money as a tool, not a goal. Simple, profound & meaningful questions drive every conversation and action. By doing this, I ensure your financial strategy reflects not only numbers, but the life and legacy you want to build.

Personal Interests

Sports are an exciting way for me to find connection with others. I spent the first decade of my career in College Women’s Basketball. Coaching and organizing team dynamics at the highest tier of college athletics has provided me with a lot of experiences that have shaped my life. What I have learned in the various roles I’ve had has given me the strength to lead and care for others at a high level. Just like the value of leading a team to victory night in and night out; a solid financial plan grows from steady habits, increased knowledge and guidance, and the commitment to keep showing up.

I worship at the Highlands Church in Delano on a weekly basis. I enjoy gathering for Men’s Group and volunteering my time and resources to give back to the church community. My involvement is the way for me to give back in the skills that I have been graced by God to do so. Through Him all things are good!

I value spending time and fellowship with family and friends. Serving and helping others is what runs through my veins, so I am always grateful to give back to the people in my life that I care about.

A donor-advised fund (DAF) may help you extend that impact even further. A DAF enables you to make charitable contributions now and qualify for a tax deduction, while recommending grants to your favorite charities on your own timeline. Over time, your fund may grow, creating even more dollars to give. Explore whether a DAF is right for you. ⬇️
