I am a Saint Louis Native, currently living in the City of Saint Louis. I am passionate about empowering the women and small businesses of Saint Louis to achieve their wildest dreams while making this city a great place. I volunteer often with stray pet organizations, I am on the Board of the Repertory Theater of St. Louis and PocketParks. I manage a whiskey podcast called Bourbon & Blondes, where we highlight female voices in the spirits industry.

I use my Thrivent Action Teams twice a year to give school supplies to schools in my neighborhood and to provide food for families during the holidays. Ask me about Action Teams so you can give back too!

Traveling is my main hobby, I love experiencing other cities and cultures through travel. What is better than food, drinks, and dancing to learn about new places?

What does financial confidence look like? It looks like knowing where you stand. It looks like having a plan for where you’re going. And it looks like feeling prepared for the unexpected—not overwhelmed by it. So, consider this your invitation. An invitation to invite more clarity, confidence, wellness, and security into your financial life. Because financial planning isn’t just about numbers. It’s about creating a life where you feel confident about what’s next. If you’re ready to make that feeling part of your financial future, you’re in the right place. Before the year gets away from you, take a moment to check in on these four areas of your financial life. 👇 1️⃣ Emergency fund Life has a way of bringing unexpected expenses. Take a look at your current emergency savings and decide whether it still provides the cushion you need. If it’s not where you’d like it to be, set a specific savings target and work toward it consistently. 2️⃣ Retirement contributions When was the last time you reviewed your contribution rate? If your income or financial situation has changed, consider whether you can increase the amount you’re putting toward retirement—even a small increase can add up over time. 3️⃣ Monthly budget Your budget should reflect your current life, not the version of your life from six months ago. Review your income, recurring expenses, discretionary spending, debt payments, and savings goals. Look for areas where your money could better support your priorities. 4️⃣ Holiday savings Instead of waiting for holiday expenses to arrive, decide now how much you realistically want to spend. Then break that amount into smaller savings goals between now and the holidays. A little planning now can help you enjoy the season without creating unnecessary financial stress later. 5️⃣ Get financial advice You don’t have to do it all at once. Pick one goal. Take one step. Start today. ✨ You don’t need to completely overhaul your finances before December 31. Choose one area to improve and take the first step. Save this post for your year-end financial check-in. What’s the one you’re tackling first? 👇 See thrivent.com/social for important disclosure information

Financial progress isn’t always measured by a number in your bank account. Sometimes it’s about habits you’re building every day- this is where having an educated financial planner comes in. See thrivent.com/social for important disclosure information.
